Motorcycle Marathon

Dear Friends,

In addition to my usual biking, this summer I’ll be promoting safe riding under the auspices of the Institute of Advanced Motorists to help reduce the annual two-wheeled carnage and will be supporting BBC Children in Need and Spinal Research at the same time. This is where you come in. NO no, don’t delete yet! Still reading? Good, then take yourself off to:-

Thanks in advance for your generosity; I feel sure I can count on you.

You may even consider forwarding this to people you know who may have too much money, are charitable by nature or have an interest in the above good causes, preferably all three.

All the best,   Geoffrey Curtis

Important Notice

Largely through the good offices of Pat Drew we have now been able to put our relationship

with St Francis Social Club on a firm footing.

The Motorcycle Club has now been formally made a “section” of St Francis Social Club

thus conferring membership rights to our members.

Your BHDMCC membership card will admit you to the club and entitle you to use the

club’s facilities.

It is most important that you have your membership card with you when you visit

the club as you maybe asked to show it.

If you do not have membership card, speak to Paul Stevens who will let you have a replacement.

New Club T-Shirts/Sweatshirts

Various items of club gear are now available, all sporting the new Club Logo.

Use our order form to perchase or contact Paul Stevens

Tony Masters is the proprietor of the Motorcycle Workshop, they do work on all types of bike,

sports, tourer, off road, classic and vintage and can supply/fit tyres, and parts for all bikes.

Please let me know what you want to put on the Notice board by the last Monday of the month If you can email your bits (use WordPad if you can) that’s best but otherwise telephone me or drop me a note. On a similar theme, when the club programme announces a run to somewhere like the BMF shows, members make ad hoc arrangements to go together. If anybody plans to go to these types of events, let me know where and when you plan to meet and I can them act as a central point to let others know what’s happening.

I can be contacted  at bhdmcc@talk21.com
